Speaker Bio

Dave Wirsching is the principal member and founder of Why About Marketing.  Dave draws on a background in technology and management consulting to help his clients achieve online marketing success through content creation and optimization for “new media” – websites, social networks, blogs, email, and online advertising.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Dave spent a dozen years as a management consultant. He was a Managing Director at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) and held management positions at Electronic Data Systems and Booz Allen and Hamilton.  In 2003 he left consulting to open his first startup, Community First Abstract, with his wife, Francine D’Elia Wirsching, ALTP.  They currently reside in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
